Both are on the same latitudes (35'), but feature rather different climates. One has what we call "crummers" with mild winters, and the other has some snow in the winter.

Tough one, obviously Kaitaia has much better winters, but I'm going with Greenville because it actually gets heat.

The summer rain and hurricanes in Greenville sucks, but its temps are just so much better so I'm forced to pick it anyway

Greenville slightly for more weather interest

Greenville - actually has real summers! Obviously the winters are cooler but IMO the high rainfall and low sunshine of Kaitaia's winters negate the milder temps. Plus Greenville would get a ton more storms and the winter snow would add some interest, even if it's only a day or two per year.
