Aosta is located in the Aosta Valley in Aosta Valley, in the far northwest of Italy. At an elevation of 583 m (1,913 ft), it has a fairly warm and dry climate, despite being in the Alps. It was founded as by Augustus Caesar as Augusta Praetoria. Valdosta is located in the far south of the US state of Georgia, near the border with Florida. Incorporated in 1860, it was named after governor George Troup's plantation, which was named Valdosta. It was named after the Aosta Valley (Val d'Osta in Piemontese. Valdosta has a warm subtropical climate typical of America's Deep South.

Valdosta. Aosta is too cold and dry, though it does have the better summers of the two

Aosta, seems to still get some storms and doesn't have nasty heat and humidity. Didn't know the alps had such dry climates

Aosta, it's better than I expected. Nice dry summers and surprisingly no shitty seasonal lag. Valdosta will see hurricane force winds this week potentially, for the record.

Valdosta is better in every possible way. An A- climate vs. a C- one.
