Both are on the same latitude (35') with similar winters. Summers are completely different, though both do get desert heat records. Oh, Fez records snow every 3-5 years, whereas Batemans Bay never gets snow. Sunshine hours at BB will probably be around 2,400-500.  |

Batemans Bay. While Fez has much better summer temperatures, BB still has occasional heat, and it wins because it has better precip and no snow.

Fez of course, perfect temps and a nice borderline semiarid/Mediterranean climate.

Batemans Bay. Summers are warm enough and it can clearly get very hot which isn't a surprise with these Aus climates. I can imagine it gets a few noticeably cool days in summer but I'm used to that. Also, the precip pattern is superior.
