Would you take scorching summers over crummers? Though tbf, Blenheim's very mild summers are compensated by the decent sunshine hours (Blenheim is one of the most sunniest cities in New Zealand). The winters of both cities are very similar, but Mosul has recorded more extreme record lows.

Mosul. Yeah it gets extremely hot summers, but the other place is mind-numbingly boring.

Tough battle, this one is. Blenheim gets better precipitation and better winters, but because of the polar crummer record lows I'm gonna go with Mosul, for getting heat.

Mosul because its spring/fall are far superior to Bleinheim, which doesn't get enough heat. Mosul's midsummer is too extreme, but 10 good months still.

Blenheim for the superior crop (citrus, hops, berries, tomatoes, etc) growing climate, for not being a tundra (in winter at least), for being close to ski-climates, and because I'm a comfort wanker. At least I admit it. The ancient city of Nineveh (which was once the largest city in the world) lies in what is now Mosul. Nineveh supported a lot of crops and had good agriculture...almonds, dates, olive, walnut, pomegranate, pear, quince, fig and of course the grapevine. My relatives who live there all boast about their fruit trees and the rich soil.
