Climate Battle: A Passage to Bangkok

Just thought of a cool idea for a climate battle: a climate battle of all places mentioned in the song "A Passage to Bangkok" (lyrics here) by the excellent Canadian progressive rock band Rush.
If only a country was mentioned, I used the capital city (which is also the largest city in every case other than Rabat vs. Casablanca where I would prefer Rabat for being a bit cooler and wetter, though I'm honestly not sure how a climate battle between the two would fare).
