Just thought of a cool idea for a climate battle: a climate battle of all places mentioned in the song "A Passage to Bangkok" ( lyrics here) by the excellent Canadian progressive rock band Rush.
If only a country was mentioned, I used the capital city (which is also the largest city in every case other than Rabat vs. Casablanca where I would prefer Rabat for being a bit cooler and wetter, though I'm honestly not sure how a climate battle between the two would fare). Bogotá, Colombia: Kingston, Jamaica: Acapulco, Mexico: Rabat, Morocco: Beirut, Lebanon: Kabul, Afghanistan: Kathmandu, Nepal: Bangkok, Thailand:

Definitely a decent selection of climates. Beirut is the winner, for being the rainiest of the Mediterranean ones.

Bangkok. Cooler winters would be preferable of course, but heat and humidity with storms is life.
In order:
Bangkok: B Acapulco: B Kingston: B Beirut: B- Kathmandu: C+ Rabat: C- Kabul: D+ Bogota: F

There's a couple there that are OK..... but Bangkok is the closest to home, so that's my vote.

Bangkok, although Kingston is a close second.

Bogotá but if I can’t handle altitude sickness then I’d pick Rabat.

Kingston. Acapulco is nice too, but the dry season is too long.
