Opposite hemispheres, virtually the same annual mean and similar sunshine hours and precip but drastically different seasonal temp amplitude and precip pattern. Which one do you prefer?

Christchurch for warmer winters and while it has a crummer, Miyun's summer is on the hot side for my preferences. Just wish it got more thunderstorms

Christchurch because it doesn't have hellish dry cold. Miyun's horrific winters actually make even its monsoonal summers look benign.

Miyun It has a much more interesting temperature profile than Christchurch. The precipitation pattern is shit though.
