Fog is something that frequently happens here in autumn and winter. I kinda grew to like that phenomenon. It somehow feels comfy and chill to me. On the other hand, it can be a pain in the ass when driving due to low visibility. Or when it's supposed to clear up and let the sun through but stubbornly lingers all day. What's your opinion on fog? I give it a C+

Really dense fog is fun. Fog is rare here (despite the stereotypes), probably mostly happens at night and in the middle of winter, but I haven't really seen it apart from a few days. Not seen anything proper dense either. Really thick fog is a novelty and would be cool to see some time so I'd rate it B-.

A for radiational fog and rain fog, but the other types can get fucked. So a C in general I suppose.

B+. Good as long as it's not super stagnant like Chongqing winter type of fog. Warm fog in summer here is nice. So is coastal California fog in spring and summer since it still gets plenty of sun, though the morning fog/afternoon sun pattern is too stable and regular.
Light to moderate fog is cozy and can be beautiful when it shrouds a mountain peak or body of water. More dense fog is interesting occasionally.

B, itโs cool. Especially like it in mountainous areas. Doesnโt happen much here though, was fairly common in fall in Rochester.

C. Interesting when it happens once in a blue moon while you stay at home. Not so interesting youโre driving outside, canโt trust other drivers.

Fog is a middling C because there are so many types, some good some shit. Certain types should only occur seasonally, some never.
Radiational fog is great in all seasons whether it be a nice cold calm early morning in midwinter or a mild one in midsummer.
Evaporation fog from rain is shitty especially in summer (fine in winter), as is fog due to orographic uplift.
Coastal advection fog (marine fog) is shitty too. San Franshitsco type shit.

F. Radiational fog is the worst weather phenomenon of all.

A+ for fog in general.
E for summer fog. No need for 32ยฐC with 100% Rh. (Voted A)
