Hi, this is my first post on the forum so I'd like to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Alice, I'm 32 years old, and I'm currently studying weather. And I want to talk about Fall time.
Fall’s the best, no question. The air’s cooler, perfect for hoodies and bonfires, and i'm not burning my ass off. Trees are colorful, and it just looks nice. Plus people are carving pumpkins, and ofc, HALLOWEEN!!!!!! yeah, it’s basic, but it’s good. But when it’s over, you’re left kinda disciplined to face the cold and a little bummed, wishing fall could stick around. So that's my thoughts on Fall.

Welcome to the forum
As a four season climate lover, I don't have a favorite season.
In winter I like my snow, in summer I like my heat and in the shoulder seasons I prefer milder transitional weather.

I like all seasons except summer. There's nothing good about summer.

A house near me has really taken it seriously this year. Plastic (I was hoping real...) skeletons covered in fake cobwebs, and the entire back of the house has big fake cobwebs with a massive 2ft spider, looks great. And here in the UK, we have bonfire night as well of course. Makes it a little more interesting still.

Meh, disagree. Summer is the best season. It has heat, humidity, cold drinks, cute fashion, and a beautiful green landscape. I do love fall foliage, but I don't like the feeling of crisp air and it's very disheartening knowing that biting cold and bad road conditions are right around the corner.
Summer > Spring > Fall >>>>>> Winter

I like all seasons but at least in Fort Collins, fall is probably the nicest season, at least September and October. Extremely pleasant with most days between 60-85 and sunny. Great outdoor weather and beautiful foliage in September up in the mountains and October down here. Also doesn’t have the incessant wind that spring does. Either October or May are the best months here.

I mean, what somebody considers to be the best season is purely subjective, so there is not much to prove wrong here. It all comes down to your preferences.
I, for example, like summer the most. Hot days with plenty of sun, good weather for beaches and outdoors, thunderstorms etc. And you gotta remember, not everyone has the same fall weather. Fall in Dallas and fall in London are very different, as are the other seasons.

It's too hot where I'm at in the summer. We hit over 100° days often. Thanks for the opinion!

I love the fall as well. I enjoy the leaves changing and comfy hoodies, plus it's great to be physically active in. I'm new to this area and have only experienced summer and fall. I like both and imagine spring is nice as well. I don't think I would enjoy the winter as the near-freezing mornings we already get on some days are cold enough for me and don't want to deal with regular snow and ice. But I'm from milder winter locations so the first winter will be an experience.

It depends a lot on the climate. In Rochester, I hated fall due to a long, cold winter but here where winter isn't so bad, fall isn't depressing and has warmer, pleasant temps. In a too hot climate, I'd probably like fall even more after a shitty summer.

Hello! Fall is my favorite season too. September is a very pleasant month, and October can be pleasant. If not, it still has good leaf color. November can be poor weather-wise, but it usually brings the first snow of the season which is always something I enjoy.
Summer would be my second favorite. Weather is usually mild to warm, sometimes too hot, but much better than most of the US. People who haven't gone outside in months suddenly appear and the city has more energy.
Winter can be hit or miss, sometimes it's more mild and brown (last winter), sometimes it's more cold and snowy. "Cold and snowy" is what I want. Early spring is the worst time of year, though May is a decent month with everything coming into full bloom.

Welcome to WWF!
I don't really have a seasonal preference, as I have never lived in a climate with stereotypically cold and snowy winters.
I think Spring is my favourite season- mild temperatures, lots of sunshine- just too much pollen!!
Autumn is my second favourite season- though no falling leaves nor snow as we mainly have evergreen trees
Summer and winter are quite pleasant (warm/cool), as they are not too intense or long-lasting. However, summer's cloudiness makes it my least favourite season.

Hi! Good question. I often browse the internet looking for interactive groups who are interested in what I'm interested in. I pretty much just discovered this forum by searching for weather forums lol. Thanks for the comment!

I was browsing something weather related and a climate battle from here popped up and piqued my interest. Anyways, welcome!

Spring is my favorite season actually. Everything is blooming, baseball season is beginning, and in climates where winter is cold you're as far away from that shit as you can get. Thankfully don't have to worry much about that here.
