I've been thinking recently how my new weather preferences have been influenced by my weight. I used to be quite a skinny bastard who felt the cold to his bones and subsequently hated any cold weather. However ever since bulking where I put on about 30kg, I've started to really appreciate colder weather.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a nice relatively hot summer but I don't dread the winter anymore, in fact, I actually look forward to it. Excessively/prolonged hot conditions have become quite unbearable for me whereas when I was skinny anything below say 17c felt markedly cold and I'd have my coat on.
Anyway, how much do you guys think your weight impacts your weather preferences? Maybe TMI but just curious to see if I'm not the only one.

I'm neither particularly skinny nor overweight, maintained a relatively constant weight, though I crave more even heat than I used to a couple years ago. I think weight does play a role, but a bigger factor is acclimatization to a climate and psychological expectations that define one's weather preferences.
I used to think 60s lows were fine in summer, though now, being acclimatized to a new normal in a warmer climate (i.e. lowland coastal NC), I notice cold more than I used to, 60/40°F winter months feel pretty cold much of the time and in summer I notice sub-70°F lows big time and find myself donning the comforter and turning off the ceiling fan from waking up to feeling cold in it with open windows.

Huge difference for me. When I was underweight I was a total heat wanker and had to have extra heating in winter to keep it 23 degrees. I wanted hot humid summers and tons of sun. Since getting to a proper weight for my height (and not fat but 100kg which is average at my height) well I hate heat completely. Winters here in the UK no coat required ever. Even 0^C is comfortable without a coat. I now like to sleep in indoor temps as low as 8°C in winter. My dream climate has gone from tropical to oceanic with 70°F max summer temps.

I still prefer a four season climate for the novelty and fun though.

No difference for me personally I've varied between 80kgs to 100kgs all my working life outdoors ( and the majority of it in the AU tropics and Outback ) I'm not/never been ) a gym junkie but I've always had 'physical work stamina/fitness' ie, can go hard all day out in the sun...Acclimatisation is very important.... Anyways... I don't do well in the cold... lol

I've always been around the same weight so I put "hardly at all". I am a bit overweight but I still like hot (although not humid) weather

I voted not that much because I've always been pretty skinny and my changes in weather preferences are pretty minor and still probably more influenced by moving between different places and changing lifestyles than weight.
More fat could make one prefer cooler temps, but being more physically active (which generally means non-obese and fit, not extremely skinny which is rare anyways) also could. Although it depends, if your favorite activity is swimming you'd probably prefer warmth.

I put "not that much" impact. I'm 6'1" 144lbs, 14% body fat, so I'm skinny, and I do despise extreme cold. I can't tolerate anything below freezing for more than a couple minutes. That said, I find cool temps (40s-50sºF) pleasant enough, and I do have a high heat tolerance. I was even skinnier when I was younger though and I had a bit more cold tolerance then. I think acclimation is more important than weight.

Being overweight due to having too much fat on your body will definitely make you more heat adverse. I'm naturally lean and am fairly cold-sensitive despite some of my ancestors being from a part of Asia with relatively cold winters.

I'm very skinny and yet I can't tolerate too much heat. I prefer a cool room when I sleep or else I will swelter!
But then again, I have an overactive thyroid, so naturally I feel uncomfortable when I get too hot.

Ever since young, I've quite skinny compared to my peers, and yet compared to others, I can tolerate cool (not cold) & windy; as well as hot (not very hot) & humid conditions quite well. In addition, I've lost my heat tolerance for sleeping

Not preferences but still pretty much same comfortable range despite gaining 25kg/55lbs over the past 5 years
