Baring is a small lower western Cascades foothill town along Highway 2. It receives significant precipitation due to orographic lift. Baring is quite snowy for its winter temps and elevation, thanks to being so wet. The foothills can experience more severe heatwaves than the lowlands because of downslope heating. This is shown by its warm season mean maxima being ever so slightly higher than Seattle's.

D+, same rating as Portage. Winters are way too snowy and crummers are mid.

C, great precipitation pattern but too much falls as snow, and temps are just generally too chilly in all months.

D. Pretty bad amount of winter rain and cloud, and too cold in general. Just stereotypical Seattle.
