Max/min temp extremes occurred on consecutive days (the last two days of the month). Overall pleasant month with the best thunderstorm of the year, which was a surprise.  |

Octubre 2024:
October was warmer and slightly cloudier than average.
The month itself was pretty uneventful. Some rain, some sun, with mostly moderate temps.
That's about it.
Anomalies:
High: 18.0C (+1C)
Mean: 13.4C (+1.7C)
Low: 9.9C (+2.4C)
Rain: 96.9 mm (+8.4 mm)
Sun: 117 h (-14 h)
Split:
Split had a fairly comfortable month with decent weather and no major extremes. In fact, the lowest high was 20.4C, and the highest high was 23.5C. Pretty low range. Split also enjoyed significantly more sunshine than Zagreb. Anomalies: High: 22.0C (+1.5C) Mean: 19.4C (+2C) Low: 16.9C (+2.2C) Rain: 54.6 mm (-25 mm) Sun: 225 h (+27 h)

October here was very gloomy & quite wet with slightly above average temperatures. October followed the trend of much warmer than average months. Not much to say except that it was a very comfortable month in general. Rainfall and sunshine was average, though my perception was that it would've been sunnier than average.
Highest high: 15.7C (sorry, a typo in the box) (11th) Highest low: 11.8C (21st) Lowest high: 7.6C (31st) Lowest low: -1.1C (16th)
Anomalies from 91-20:
High: +2.8C Mean: +2.4C Low: +2.0C Precipitation: -6 mm (92%) Sunshine: +8 h (110%)
