B- for me. I appreciate the highs but summer lows get a bit too daunting at times. May, June, September and October should have some very good weather though

B for me too. Nice rainfall, but those diurnal ranges are too small and records are too close to the averages, obviously due to coastal influence but still.

I think the average rating for Livorno will be quite high, but with few A's. It's a suitable middle of the ground climate that many people would find quite appealing albeit not a dream climate Certainly better than Rimini on the other side of Italy in my opinion.

B, a bit too chilly for me year round. I assume the sunshine hours in the winter are kinda crappy too

Anyone know the sunshine hours?-they might not be that high, with such a low diurnal range. 2.5-2.7 k hours in that part of the Med I believe.

A typical Mediterranean climate would have really high sunshine hours in the summer, but with humidity above 70%, which is why the diurnal range is so small en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valletta#Climate

B-. As good as winterless climates go. What do you rate Gap and Embrun going off of Embrun's sunshine stats for both?

What do you rate Gap and Embrun going off of Embrun's sunshine stats for both? Same rating. Don't like the chilly lows outside winter.

C. Inoffensive, summers are OK. Looks like there wouldn't be many thunderstorms. Winters too cold.
