Highway 2 crosses the Cascades from the Puget lowlands to eastern sagebrush steppe so it's climatically diverse. Starting off with Monroe which is basically a cooler, wetter Seattle. It sits at the base of the Cascades. Baring is in the nearby foothills. It's significantly wetter due to orographic lift. Leavenworth is a rain shadowed continental climate in the eastern Cascades foothills. It's a bit of a frost hollow. Once you get to Wenatchee, where the native vegetation is sagebrush steppe, things start to get real dry. And lastly we have Spokane which is the only one of these places that I haven't been.

Baring. All this rain would give a beautifully lush temperate rainforest.

Leavenworth has the most interesting winters, but Wenatchee has the warmest (best) summers. So I'll pick Wenatchee.

Monroe is the best one and it's not even close.

Monroe, warmest and least snowy of the Mediterranean options.

Leavenworth, best winters and decent summers. Too dry in summer but that's all of these. Spokane also has decent temps but it's very dry. Why stop at Spokane? Highway 2 goes to the UP, then starts back up in New England. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_2
