Which regions of this world are home to your favorite real-world climates?
For me, as I like hot and humid summers with cool winters for variety, it'll be all of southeast US equatorward of 31-32°N, Florida, south Texas, also parts of the Sierra Madre Oriental foothills of Mexico down to Monterrey/Ciudad Victoria, and most of subtropical India.

My favourite is the Dfa/Cfa transitional zone with plentiful rain so that's a lot of the northeast and midatlantic US as well as some spots in the midwest.
There's somewhere in PA/MD/DE/NJ/NY that is probably the closest to my dream climate. Honourable mentions to the Po Valley in Italy and Southern inland France + a few spots in Northern Spain near the Pyrenees that aren't totally arid in summer. Isolated spots in inland southeastern Europe on the windward side of mtns as well as the caucuses are good too. East Asia is sadly too gloomy where the winters aren't that cold / summers are a bit too humid. |
