Dry ?? They get near 60" a year ! That ain't dry.... Doesn't matter if there's high precipitation totals when precipitation is infrequent. The place gets less precipitation days than Fort Collins. Especially bad in summer with how hot it is. 7-8 precipitation days means 75% of days are dry and boring with shitty temps.

The precip threshold in the weatherbox is >1.0 mm (i.e. 0.04"), there's gotta be a bit more >=0.01" days

No matter how one spins it... 60" per annum ain't 'dry' ... especially so with 150mm ( 6" ) falling in the dryer winter months. Likely more green than brown ( the surrounding countryside ). In AU we count 0.2mm as a recordable rain day. ( .008" ).
