Definite A, one of my favourites! The East German one was really good as well, I wish the reunified Germany had chosen this tune as its anthem and just changed a few of the words

C. Glorious rhythm though nothing special to impress about it.

Still better than Finland's snooze fest. Also I prefer the lyrics of the current Russian anthem. Here is the former anthem back from the 90s and here is the imperial anthem

From a musical perspective, D. Generic and predictable. I suppose they are going for a particular formal, bombastic sounding style for a National Anthem, but it is... boring.

As much as I despise the Soviet Union, it’s politics, it’s leaders, and everything it stood for utterly and completely I have to admit the anthem is definitly powerful.

A- "Authoritarian marxist" pieces of music sound often good. I think it is because of they came from the above mentioned authoritarian marxist environment. The anthem itself is A-. Good music, maybe only a bit predictable.

A+ of course. Very powerful anthem.
Also, here's China's national anthem, also pretty powerful although to be honest I still like the USSR one better:
It was written before the Communist revolution in 1934/1935 but only officially adopted in 1982. It is called March of the Volunteers (义勇军进行曲 ) and it is about the fighting against the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. It has nothing to do with communism.
