A tricky one, as Melbourne has average highs 2C warmer than here over the year, -a plus. But is also drier and without much winter chill, which is a minus.
At this stage, I'm going to have to say "I just don't know"
I'll will make my decision before the 23rd of this month.

Melbourne.
It has milder winters, and the summers are basically the same with a handful of 40+ days thrown in every month.

My current climate. I can't handle the inverted seasons.

That's a no trainer. Of course I would prefer Melbourne over this depressing place

Tromsø is worse, no? Also, what about Bodø? Yeah, but nobody with a brain would make one of these polls about such a climate since you know the only ones who would switch would be Everblack and ILMC. And none of them is on this forum (right?) I would never want to live in Vostok. Tromso, maybe, but the summers are little cool even for me. Contrary to what some may think, I actually don't care for overly extreme cold climates. I prefer more moderately cold climates with an oceanic influence.

An old CityData climate battle with Melbourne. Posters commented rigged Spain polls as weird, I didn't think it was that novel.

Can't decide. I like the heatwaves that Melbourne gets in the summer but then I hate the rainfall and rainfall pattern they get throughout the year, especially with the high rain days

My ideal summers would be closer to 70 F/21 C though with a handful of 75-80 F/24-27 C days.

My current climate. Melbourne looks fairly boring, aside from the occasional summer heat waves. We see colder temps nearly every winter than Melbourne's record low temp. Summers too mild in Melbourne and not many t-storms.

My current climate(s), by far, and the reasons should be obvious.

Melbourne. Everything is much better than anywhere in this country (unless you like cold winters and snow).

Overall Melbourne; it's warmer and wetter in winter and has better heat records with no chance of the kind of extreme cold we often get here. At the same time, Melbourne's summer average temps are legitimately not good, especially not when you also factor in the record lows, so it's not a 100% easy contest like you might expect. Also, where are the storms in Melbourne?

^^^ storms collapse into a shit heap as they come off the hills into Melbourne, or get murdered by the southerlies.

Typical Melbourne summer.... You never know if you need sunscreen or a hoodie I've sat in the MCG watching footy ( winter sport ) in a singlet and shorts and cricket ( summer sport ) in longs and a coat....... Much prefer the wet/dry tropics.

Mine. Colder winters than Melbourne make up for the worse summers. An old CityData climate battle with Melbourne. Posters commented rigged Spain polls as weird, I didn't think it was that novel. Even without Beercules' aid, there was no competition. Remember a moderator vote is worth 50 regular votes.
