My climate pretty easily. Summers and shoulder seasons are way too cool in Gothenburg.

I prefer Gothenburg over Oslo. May and September count towards summer for me. Also Gothenburg is sunnier. I would say higher temps in may/sepember are more important, because they prolong the summer. The same goes for november/march where they can shorten the winter. November and March are winter months here, while they are undoubtly autumn and spring months in Gothenburg. I would also say it is a big difference between a 2C and -2C in winter. One have snow and ice, and the other probably not. Yeah. I'd rather have a 22'C July and 18'C May than 24'C July and 16'C May

Oslo is better in summer though and for me that's the main selling point of a South Scandinavian climate There are no good winters in the world north of 44°N anyways.. I prefer Gothenburg over Oslo. May and September count towards summer for me. Also Gothenburg is sunnier. The wiki page for Gothenburg has the strange 2002-2016 base period. The sunhrs for Gothenburg 2002-2016 are fairly similar to Oslo's in 1961-90, and as pretty much all of Scandinavia seems to have more sun now, I guess Oslo would have very similar sunhrs to Gothenburg if the same years were used. Those two cities are not that far apart either. Gothenburg is more oceanic and a little further south.

They had 1631h for 1961-1990. I'm guessing that's about the same as Oslo I guess

Oslo had 1669 sunhrs in 1961-90, so very slightly more, but not noticeable.

Oslo had 1669 sunhrs in 1961-90, so very slightly more, but not noticeable. Wow, one hour more than 1981-2010 No, 1981-2010 has more sun, so wiki is wrong there. The sun data for each month for Oslo on wiki is 1961-90 data, the one hour difference is due to decimals not used on the monthly weather box. If Oslo has the same percentage increase as Gothenburg, then Oslo should have 1802 sunhrs in 2002-2016.

Turku has 1911 sun hours for 02-16, so a 4% increase from 81-10.

Turku has 1911 sun hours for 02-16, so a 4% increase from 81-10. Hmm, that's not very much. If you draw a line of best fit from 1983 to 2015, Sweden's national average (12 stations taken evenly from the three regions) has risen from 1590h in 1983 to 1840h in 2015!

I see the check mark was at Gothenburg, probably compared to my previous location before. Changed vote to my current climate.
