What do you think 2018 will have in store for your location, climate-wise?
I'll go with London since there doesn't seem to be any available climate data/averages for Norwich Airport.

If I predict a really shit year, I will be less disappointed in reality, I hope. So we have a subarctic June/July, cold October. January also sees a cold start to 2018.

Best case scenario: cold and snowy up to early April, warmer than normal April and May followed by a dry and sunny summer. Autumn will suck anyway.

The one thing I am absolutely certain about is that August will have below average temps, sun and above average rain. I've gone with above average sun for June and July as it's about time (and they haven't sucked as bad as August).
June had above average sun in 2010 and 2014 (exactly average in 2017).
July in 2013 and 2014.
August in 2003 and 2005!

Time to bump this so we call all see how badly we are doing, or to make amendments based on the current patterns.

No idea, but I just know it will be a piece of shit, because that is exactly how 2018 has started so far. The worst start to a year in living memory. At least 2013 had more sun.

February was still much drier, and temps are off, but the sunshine was close. March was sunnier, drier and warmer maxes/cooler nights. Still not bad predictions at all. Highest temp was 42.4°C, and it'll most likely stay like that.

Time to make a prediction after 3 months.
Tm/Tn/pp/sn/Txx/Tnn
April: 52/34/4”/3”/72/24 May: 66/45/4”/0/86/35 June: 80/58/2”/0/91/49 July: 82/62/3”/0/91/51 Aug.: 79/59/4”/0/88/50 Sept: 74/52/2”/0/90/39 Oct: 61/42/5”/0/81/27 Nov: 45/32/3”/10”/67/15 Dec: 42/30/4”/14”/59/12
95% chance April is below average, probably May too, I’m guessing warm pattern comes back for June but we have an average summer. There’s been 3 top 10 warm Septembers in a row so I think this one will be above average but not by much, same with October. Haven’t had a cold November in a while, so I predict this one will be and then a mild December. Continuing the wet pattern too.

Both April estimates are going down the drain.
Looks like the average temps will be closer to my first one, with sunshine possibly scraping past my extremely pessimistic guess.
