A record high of 33.6C is very surprising. It's a D+ climate for me.

F.
Gets surprisingly warm in the summer. Since 2010, it has a mean record high of 81 (27.3 C) and every year since then has reached 77 (25 C).

Grade F. Avoiding F- for being continental(D) climate instead of polar(E).

E+ too cold in every season, too dry and not quite snowy enough (though snow probably stick around for eight months).
Not too often that I say a climate is too cold for me....

Your image isn't working for me, does anybody else have this problem?
Either way, F, rated up from F- because it has some kind of a non-cold season at least and actually gets more sun than I do.
I'm not sure what my favourite month would be there, July's not all that warm and from what I've seen these Arctic places always look so barren in the summer with no vegetation around anyway so I'd probably prefer April/May: relatively sunny, long-ish days, not quite so cold but still frozen enough for winter sports.

F+ It's not the worst I've seen. Certainly better than Gambell. July doesn't look too bad with a descent amount of sunshine, and the daytime high is ok if the sun is shining. September - june however however look simply awful. And Baker Lake has one of the nicest climates in Nunavut, and that says something about that area. The view of the city also looks really depressing, as it does with a lot of other villages in Greenland, Arctic Canada, Alaska and Siberia.

E+ too cold in every season, too dry and not quite snowy enough (though snow probably stick around for eight months). Not too often that I say a climate is too cold for me.... I agree. Not enough falling snow. If I could choose to spend any month there, I think October is what I'd choose. Wintery and subfreezing temperatures prevail (but not brutal!), and October gets more snowfall there than any other month.

One of the easiest A's I have ever given.
Cambridge Bay or Pond Inlet would be my favorite Nunavut climates, this one's slightly warmer. Grise Fiord is another good one.
The problem with most of Nunavut though... not enough snow. That's what keeps it from an A+.

It's a more continental and colder (due to colder winters) - version of Longyearbyen. As with Longyearbyen, mid - April to early May are very good for visiting: Plenty of snow, the extreme cold is over, lakes and rivers still frozen so snowmobile can be used everywhere, and lots of sun and long (or even never-ending) days. July is also an option, but with lots of mosquitos and open water ponds. Hmm, would prefer late Aug as the mosquitos are gone due to overnight freezes.
