Easily Djibouti, at least you can swim around in the sea all the time

Djibouti, those hot summers sound easier to deal with psychologically than month after month of darkness and -30C every winter.

Djibouti any day. I admit 42c is a bit too hot, but it's better than extreme cold. But what do I know. The hottest temperature I've experienced except for in a sauna is probably around 35C.
I feel too cold pretty much every day of the year and I don't really know how extreme heat would feel like on a long term basis.

I think thanks to the sea being there Djibouti could be manageable if you've got a good spot to bathe and swim in

The sea is actually what makes Djibouti unbearably humid, and swimming in like 34 C ocean probably won't cool you off or refresh you in the least.
I'd easily choose Resolute. Much rather a climate too cold for me than a climate that's too hot. At least Resolute's summers look like they're a break from the extreme cold, Djibouti sees no break....

Djibouti, having worked in similar Pilbara and Kimberley climes in Western Australia, it wouldn't have been too much of a stratch to handle this one. I nearly ended up on a Marine Construction Project here in 2006..... Was supposed to be heading to Peru on a LNG wharf and jetty for Brazillian construction company Norberto Odebrecht SA..... about half a dozen or so Aussie blokes ended up there ( Peru ), we had all just finished a similar structure in my home city of Darwin. I was waiting for the call, when I get a call from one of collegues in Lima, saying that Oderbrecht wanted to send me to this job in Djibouti, and the reason being that none of their own people wanted to go there as the Project was one of those 3rd World hellholes, with mounting extremist tensions and possibilities of Westerners being kidnapped etc. So I declined the offer....haha ( and no Peru offer either after that.... oh well )

Djibouti, easily, for the same reasons as OP mentioned.

Resolute. Already voted before and still haven't changed my mind.

Djibouti easily, even though it's not great.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don't. While Djibouti is worse in summer than anything I've experienced, it comes closer to my experience than anything in Resolute, so that's what I'm going with.

Djibouti. Resolute sounds absolutely miserable.
