This song is terrible, but Christmas wouln't be the same without it.
My mate has been to the pub where it was filmed, apparently it has a plaque outside talking about the song, and Paul McCartney was a regular drinker there, along with someone else who was really famous, maybe Elton John.

The line “They’re singing Deck the Halls, but it’s not like Christmas at all” is the theme song of this year.
Usually we have a big family reunion with 20+ people for Christmas and it’s a lot of fun with my aunts, uncles and cousins...this year it’ll be me, my parents and my grandmother, just won’t be the same at all
