How not to get banned - please read ;)

So far so good with the forum, it's turning into everything I hoped it would be, but in case things aren't always this way I thought I ought to put some kind of disciplinary procedure in place so we all know where we stand:
If either myself, jgtheone or Ariete receives complaints about a certain poster and all three of us feel that they are either getting on people's nerves too much or otherwise spoiling the atmosphere, we will first give that person a warning via PM. If their behaviour doesn't improve and we continue to receive complaints and/or we think that person might be having a negative influence on here, the next stage will be to give that person a temporary 5-day ban from the forum.
If this still doesn't work and the person in question still causes trouble, that person will be banned from the forum for 48 hours while the rest of us vote on whether we want the person to stay on here or not.
If the majority vote is Yes, that person will be allowed back but with the original warning still in place. If the vote is No, that temporary ban will automatically be made into a permanent ban. Other than trying to get people in trouble on CD for things they have said on here or threatening to do so that is the only way anybody will ever be banned from this site.
Hopefully it won't ever come to that, but I trust you will find that system fair.
