It's well known the boiling point of water changes with air pressure. But does the freezing point change as much? Could there be a whole degree of difference between high pressure and low pressure or is the difference minimal? I know there is a difference but is it too small to be affected by normal air pressure changes?
The air pressure is currently about 980hPa, and my thermometer is reading 0.6'C for the slush solution I have. Is that all my thermometer's fault or is the freezing point actually 0.6'C?
