E- salvaged by four sort of manageable months between Nov and Feb! It actually is less hot than Miami in spite of the lower latitude, due to it being far inland and having a strong summer monsoon that keeps temps down then.

Hmmm, yeah go on, I'll give it an E because Nov-Jan look relatively comfortable as well. It's not even that hot but the monotony would drive me crazy, 8 months a year within a 3C difference in daily means!

F+, the + being for the wet season and cool overnight lows in Dec/Jan.

F+, the + being for the wet season and cool overnight lows in Dec/Jan. It'd be a tough call between Miami and this one for myself (both are E-) but it certainly has some strengths that Miami hasn't. The overnight lows are better and more balanced there which would certainly help. I'd prefer Miami's high range, but Chiang Rai really looks good in terms of those summer lows.

I'd take Miami, especially the inland suburbs. Similar lows, lower highs, stronger cold snaps, etc. Chiang Rai's record lows are rather paltry.

B+
Actually has a decent variety in temps, sunshine and rainfall. Probably gets a butt load of storms aswell. You've always got something to look forward to. I'd still prefer to be more sun and less rain from Jul-Sept.

An E+ Too hot before the rains start, which is the problem with all climates in that area. It's an interesting dynamic but not a pleasant one. The dry season is also way too long.

Keep in mind it's the coldest town in Thailand Bloody hell! Shit country all around lol. A week like the one we've just had here would be impossible there. That alone puts Miami on top imo

E.
Hot and humid all year round. At least its 'cool' season has pleasant lows though - That part saves it from an F rating.
