For the record, Titanic sunk a little fraction east of this by a few miles but I've taken the closest measurement spot! This is based upon Ventusky's satellite readings at 1 pm local time through certain parts of 2017 and has let me to estimate what Titanic's sinking place would've been like had it been a small island. Crazy seasonal lag in spring due to icy water coming down from north, the northerlies always being a threat in summer, but at the same time tropical water transitioning up there sometimes leading to warm and comfy days. Last summer the water temp came close to reach 25°C once, which certainly would've pushed a small island above Tristan da Cunha's all-time record of 24.4°C only then, and that's just one August. Unlike Sable Island though, there's very little influence of Atlantic Canada in terms of persistent summer warmth, here, highs can fall as low as 14-15°C in August, but then lows are still controlled at 13°C. So here it is! Sunshine hours and rainfall are influenced by similar latitudes in Eastern North America. I rate this one a C- due to the absence of summer heat and long and quite nasty winters with lots of gales and heavy winds. Also, the abundance of thunderstorms this place will experience would be very tiring in the long run.

What about the intense never-ending winter gales and summer thunderstorms then?

What about the intense never-ending winter gales and summer thunderstorms then? Perhaps it could score a solid D if the gales are at least 40 knots and occur almost every day, but other than that? Bugger me sideways. Too bloody mild!

E Why do you keep creating these extremely boring climate boxes?

E Why do you keep creating these extremely boring climate boxes? Because the ocean might be boring, but still has interesting patterns

Need rain days and snowfall to be able to rate.
Winter record highs seem a bit unrealistic...I would guess somewhere between 15-17 C would be more likely.

Warm waters up towards 18-19°C happened there last year in winter For such a small island, that would instantly warm the temps. Rain days would be equal to any East Coast climate and snowfall is 15 cm per year.

I'm going to pretend it's not horribly windy and rate it C+

E. Boring as shit. Also highly doubt it'd average that much sunshine.

B
I like the long drawn out winters. Rainfall is moderate, but acceptable. Sunshine hours a little higher than ideal but I could live with them. Summers look pleasant. Except for the rainfall and sun hours, it's not far from my ideal climate temperature wise if I got tired of cold and snow.
This gets a higher grade than Gulf Stream Island because of the cooler winters and higher precipitation.
