Population: 785 Elevation: 1006m/3300' amsl Latitude, longitude: 50S, 150W Average wind speed: 18 m/s / 40mph / 64 km/h (60% from west, 40% east) Geography: The village of Blashyrkh is located in the southern hemisphere of an unknown planet on an island roughly three times the size of Madagascar. By way of a gradual slope akin to Mauna Kea (but obviously not as high), it's exposed to modified marine air to the east. Conversely, it's exposed to continental air to the west (so it's situated on the east coast of the island) by way of a deep valley to the much more elevated interior of the island (~3000m/9800'). To the north and south of the Blashyrkh plain are steep and jagged mountains with peaks around 4000m. I'll give a generous D. It would be D+ if sunshine levels were normal, which are low due to the mountains to the north and south, blowing snow due to wind, and the incessant falling snow. Needless to say, the planet is very cold overall which allows these temperatures at 50S.

F- doesn't even halfway describe what a hellhole that place would be like

Also Mörön , that would be way colder than that because of glaciation which would force it onto an ice cap elevation since the snow can never melt and will just accumulate frozen ground so that climate literally is impossible to keep that "maritime" Therefore the sun levels and snowfall would be way lower and similar to Vostok.

But...but...the wind blows all the snow so it doesn't accumulate to those glacial levels. It's pretty much always blowing at this location...

C+This is certainly pushing it for even my maritime standards with those nonexistant sunshine hours and everlasting cold, but it will definately cop some proper fucken gales, being elevated by 1006 m AMSL at 50° S and so on. Orcadas Base on roids! A little chilly, but very fucken exciting!

Constant blowing and falling snow, constant cold that can get extreme sometimes, almost no sun.
Fucken Epic, I give it a B- as it lacks a warm season and the temps don't fluctuate enough.

F-. No warmth, no sun, no variation.
However, this beats the shit out of those subpolar oceanic shitholes. Cold and snowy beats cool and rainy any day IMO.

This climate is quite epic. The snowstorms must be great and the cold snaps look really strong for the averages. But still, I would hate to have 10 F (-12 C) average highs in mid-summer, and it's too cold for 7-8 months out of the year. I'll give it a D-.

Ok, it gets downgraded to a solid E lol.

There should be a "Z" option.
