Located at 41N in the center of a large north-America like continent with a large mountain range rising just west of the town. Elevation is ~4500β.

C- for me - too cold for too long, and too dry.

It's too dry and sunny for my tastes, and winters are too mild with too many mild periods. But the variability keeps it interesting, and winter does look like it gets good cold snaps and good snowy period. I'll give it a C+.
Also, lol at your new username.

B-. Very nice but too dry in summer. And I don't like deep frosts in May and June.

B+, for inland standards. The piss-poor precipitation and fuck all thunderstorm activity buggers right in the ass.

B+, for inland standards. The piss-poor precipitation and fuck all thunderstorm activity buggers right in the ass. Thereβs an average of 34 thunderstorms per year. Still probably too low for you but not as low as the precipitation amount suggests.

D - summer lows are a bit low, highs are fine, winters again same thing with lows on the cold side for me. Sun hours and rain are OK.

C-. There's much I don't like: the diurnal ranges, the low precipitation, the stupid snowfall and record lows.
It's not THAT bad, though.

E. Winters are far too cold, as are the minimums year round. Too dry though summer maximums are good, as is sunshine, which keeps it from getting an F

I think I'll like this sort of climate. Hot summer days but the temperature drops so you get a relief from the daytime heat. Winters seem snowy enough with some milder spells thrown in which is ok due to the possibility for such harsh cold snaps. Only thing I don't like its too dry.

Swings too much within the months, slightly too dry, summer highs too hot, winter lows too low, no chance of a snowpack in spite of being cold as hell, but partially very good shoulder seasons after all. April, May, June, September and October wouldn't be bad at all similar to May-Sep here so D+ Would have to toss a coin to decide between this and NykΓΆping
