Peterborough, by maritime standards. Aye, Chatham does have much cooler summers, but they still don't recieve regular snowfall; I might as well go for the climate with better winters – Peterborough.

Chatham Island. Buxton with mild winters. I mean it's boring and whatever but at least doesn't get cold.

Peterborough, the Chatham Islands are no place for a weather enthusiast.

Peterborough.
I could've negotiated in a fight between Eureka and Peterborough and probably even gone for the former, but Chatham doesn't even have warm winters...
Ugh.

Peterborough, the Chatham Islands are no place for a weather enthusiast. For some people comfort takes precedent when you live in a climate. I am enthusiastic about weather as anyone - but I don't want to be cold half the year if I'm actually going to live in a location. If I want to experience other types of weather I can always travel (just like going to hot climates from the UK).

Peterborough. The Chatham Islands are a weather enthusiast's purgatory. At least in Peterborough I have a chance of seeing heat and thunderstorms, along with more sunshine. And snow frankly is better than horrid bacteria farming oceanic skin-penetrating driving light rain wet lead crap year round.

I would miss the thunderstorms and warmer summer but I can't live in a place with those winters (it's not snow I mind, I find that interesting. I just can't tolerate cold). How about summer in Ontario and winter in Chatham Islands? Sounds like a good compromise. Seeing as there is this invention called aeroplanes. And of course, winter in Ontario is summer in the Chatham Islands so even better.

Peterborough, as Chatham would bore the shit out of me.
It's a B vs. E climate for me, so the decision was quite easy.
