I've visited numerous F climates: coastal northern Norway, coastal central California, mountaintops...
Never been to an A climate; New York would be the closest and it's a B. In Europe, Ljubljana and Bratislava.

Yes plenty... some of the A climates I've visited include: Honolulu, Miami, Acapulco, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro, Cairns Some of the F climates I've visited (and lived in): Ottawa, Winnipeg, Churchill, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Inuvik Do you really put Ottawa in the same category as Inuvik? Ottawa has annual mean 6.5C and pretty warm but still mostly comfy summers, and 3.5 month long winters that are cold but not extreme. Inuvik has annual mean -8C with 7 month long and extremely cold winters, and a short summer which can see freezing lows. Ottawa is pretty horrendous. Once winters become cold enough, it doesnt really matter how cold they are. A place that gets -15C highs in the winter will get the same rating from me as a place that gets -50C highs in the winter; an F

In Europe, Ljubljana and Bratislava. You got to experience New York’s A climate when it had a week of cold, gloomy oceanic crud. Paris would have been better. I’m not as well traveled as many here; been to few A climates. San Rafael, California is the only part of the Bay Area I’ve been to I’d give an A; maybe a few other spots along the coast: Big Sur? F? Mt. Washington of course; anywhere 2000 m in the PNW with snow midsummer is a clear F, too

I may have visited an F climate, depending on how cold the summits of 14,000+ ft mountains in Colorado are. Of the climates with data, Nevado de Toluca is one of the worst, but not quite F. Only climates with summer highs colder than 50 F or summer lows colder than 30 F get an F from me. I've driven through some sections of I-26 in northern South Carolina that have A climates.

I’ve visited both.
Some F climates I’ve visited: Various mountain tops in AZ, WY, CO, CA, and Switzerland. Panama City is definitely an F, I’ll say Yuma is an F as well.
As for A climates; Flagstaff and Black Forest

I've lived in an F climate, Rochester, NY, and have been to F climates for work, like Liberal, KS and Denver
Work in an A climate (SoCal), consider Phoenix to be a B+ climate (losing points for heat and rain during monsoon season)

I've been to Windsor, Ontario a couple of times, so yes I've visited an A-grade climate Don't think I've visited any F-grade climates off the top of my head, but plenty of Ds for sure.

I've visited several A climates, most recently in northern Wisconsin.
I only give an F to climates that are terrible all months of the year. Never visited one.

I think the low latitude places I've visited I'd consider A-level if you're just talking only about climate. I haven't been to an F climate because an F climate is supposed to be something that is completely uninhabitable or close to it. The worst climate I have visited has been the interior of southern Norway.
