Have you ever visited a place that you would consider an A climate? How about an F climate?
I've visited a bunch of A climates; Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rosario, Cordoba, and Mendoza are all A climate in my book. Santiago and Atlanta might be borderline A climates too
I don't think I've ever been to a place that has an 'F' climate, altho Belfast, Moscow, and St. Petersburg all come close (E climates)

F:
•Bergen, others in coastal Norway
•Seward, AK; Hyder, AK; some others in southeast Alaska
•Forks, WA; others in coastal Washington and Oregon

I have visited in Paris, La Rochelle, and London which are considered A climates in my standard.
Phoenix and Sarasota(Tampa Metro Area) are probably the worst climates I've ever been to so far, both are E climates though I was there during the cooler months.

I LIVE in an F climate lol...also used to live in Caracas and Maracaibo, both F climates.
Have never been to an A climate, but several climates that are solid Bs. Chicago for example, Upstate NY and NH for example.

I tend to be quite conservative with A and F ratings. Climates that are practically perfect or uninhabitable. No, I haven't visited an A climate, of which the closest ones are in Moldova, a country I have no interest in visiting. Regarding spring-summer-autumn temps maybe the closest to an A has been Venice. Closest to an F is likely somewhere in the mountains around Tromsö.

I've been to Kiruna and Mo i Rana and Hemavan, Nikkaluokta etc. F climates. Gibraltar is probably the closest I've been to an A climate. Don't know for sure if I rate it A or not.

Yes. Hawaii is an A climate for me & I have been to the main Islands of Oahu, Big Island, Maui & Kauai  Never been to anywhere I consider an F climate. |

I break up each rating into say a straight F, or an F- or F+.
I used to rate my current climate an F but actually that's a bit silly. It's gloomy alright but really not that bad, it doesn't get any dangerous cold or heat and is perfectly liveable. So I'd give it an E. I have not visited an F climate, or an A climate.

Never been somewhere that had an A climate throughout the year. I guess Faro (Portugal) and Benidorm had A summer climates. A+ for Faro.
Never been to an F.

Yes plenty... some of the A climates I've visited include:
Honolulu, Miami, Acapulco, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro, Cairns
Some of the F climates I've visited (and lived in):
Ottawa, Winnipeg, Churchill, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Inuvik

I think an F climate needs to be truly depressing and unlivable for most of the year. I've just had the shitty luck of living in some climates I really fucking hate like Moscow and Binghamton, when I don't live in climates like those I'm pretty satisfied |

They are both "D" climates according to Koppen. For me that's an automatic F. Ottawa winters are horrendous and Inuvik winters are even worse. Just because Inuvik is worse than Ottawa doesn't mean Ottawa isn't a F climate.

Not really. Flagstaff is too cold and Sedona too hot. Technically somewhere on the road between them would be an A climate.
No F climates either (other than mountain tops).
