The Russia one is an A climate while the Florida one is a D. St. Petersburg, Russia's temperature are close to my ideal with the only complaint it being somewhat dry.

Florida is depressing for 4 months of the year, Russia is depressing for 7 months of the year. Florida is less depressing so it wins! FL is depressing for 4 months of the year? Maybe the summer months because of all the storms. If so, FL is depressing during the wrong months. Summer precipitation is indeed a major downside of FL. I would say the thunderstorms and precipitation are the only upside to Florida's oppressive summers.

Seeing as how Florida has no real winter, the Russian city gets the nod. However, I wouldn't mind the hotter summers in St. Petersburg, FL.
