How come you want coastal climates to be the polar opposite of non-coastal climates?

How come you want coastal climates to be the polar opposite of non-coastal climates? Also spare a thought for the really continental coastal climate of Campbellton, right on a sea shore

How come you want coastal climates to be the polar opposite of non-coastal climates? Yeah, seems like his preferences are maritime polar climates rather than true inland (continental) climates.

Yes, really Not one of those climates have diurnal ranges of at least 14° C, let alone 17° C (Inland NSW-tier). Some of them can also be rather humid and muggy in summer, which should not occur in an inland region! Fuck me dead mate.

How come you want coastal climates to be the polar opposite of non-coastal climates? I like maritime climates to be at rather high latitudes—45°-60° S/N poleward—with very rough and unforgiving seas; it makes it a lot more exciting. Cold, squally weather is paramount for achieving such a climate. My ideal maritime latitudes straddle 53°-59° S/N poleward; the subpolar to lower tundra parallels.

The Icelandic sea can be pretty unforgiving but these guys had no issues in 34 m/s winds

Okay, I'm going with Toronto since there's a point where the maritime winters aren't worth the cold summers, like Victoria.
