Four votes as usual in the final primary to proceed to the Round of 16. I intend to let each of the four winners go straight through to the quarter finals by the way, which is when the head to head battles will start after the 2-4 places cities in each division have done battle to join those. My votes are for Charleston (SC), Atlanta, Charlotte and Birmingham. This part of the US is all about finding the best compromises between summers and winters, so as shoulder seasons don't become unbearably hot, because summer's a goner anyway. Since Birmingham is much better than Virginia Beach and Nashville in winter, it just squeezes ahead of them. New Orleans is too hot during May and September to be considered part of the top four. I'd much rather have Jacksonville Beach in that case. Well anyway... These are the 13 cities: Alabama: BirminghamArkansas: Little RockFlorida: MiamiGeorgia: AtlantaKentucky: LouisvilleLouisiana: New OrleansMississippi: JacksonNorth Carolina: CharlotteOklahoma: Oklahoma CitySouth Carolina: Charleston (downtown)Tennessee: NashvilleTexas: HoustonVirginia: Virginia Beach

Louisville (since it's the most four-season climate of the bunch) Oklahoma City (seems like it gets a pretty wide range of weather) Virginia Beach (not that hot for that long) Charlotte (pretty much a toss-up between that and Atlanta, went with Charlotte because of the slightly cooler nights).

Louisville easily tops this list. Other than that, Nashville, Charlotte and OKC.

1) Virginia Beach 2) Louisville 3) Nashville 4) Charlotte
Not particularly keen on any of these climates. I chose Virginia Beach first since it's on the coast and more likely to be impacted by storms. Louisville and Nashville are capable of occasionally decent cold. Charlotte...well it's certainly better than a place like Miami or New Orleans.

Charlotte Virginia Beach Louisville Atlanta I've been struggling to pick the bests among the worst climate region. Me too. Worst in the country, but it does get props for variable/interesting weather.

Me too. Worst in the country, but it does get props for variable/interesting weather. I also take into account of referring many different thunderstorm maps of the US, so it was pretty much mixing a balance in criteria.
