The Carolinas are next so here we go on a trip down to @tarheelboi and his hoods Here one sort of seasonal and one of the more maritime East Coast stations there are go head to head for a spot in the semis! Actually this is not a deliberate match-up at all. Charlotte ended up being your #2 seed for the quarter finals based on more than 62 % of the initial round turnout selecting it. Charleston came through thanks to the initial playoff round where it placed third and therefore is seeded as #7. My vote is for Charleston thanks to much warmer winters in terms of the overall aggregate as well as slightly lower summer highs. Humidity is bad enough in both places so I don't think I'd enjoy Charlotte's moderate lows that much then either. In winter needless to say, almost 10°C means throughout is much more pleasant.

Charlotte. I'm surprised the summer highs are slightly cooler in South Carolina than North Carolina but Charleston has really sticky nights for half the year, ugh

I think both are great climates, hard to pick. I'll vote for Charleston since it's not getting appreciated enough

I really despise the US East Coast in general for climates but Charleston, apart from summer lows really is a good deal for its latitude and proximity to frost hollows and humid 34°C avg highs and all that

Holy shit, Lommaren, take a look at this: Charlotte's average real feel high is 34'C at the peak, Charleston's is 39'C! That's Singapore level humidity!
