Hong Kong got 3 votes purely based on name recognition. Really don't think HK or Macau should be in the poll.
Kunming is a very easy 1st place climate wise. My 2nd place would probably be Chengdu over Chongqing or Guiyang. Northern China generally has pretty bad air pollution during the winter. Lowland southern China generally has damp cold, with varying degrees of winter chill and dampness depending on whether you're in the Yangtze Basin or the South China Sea coast.

Nanchang is the best of these, but they're all horrific. Solid temps though, and a semblance of warm drought in fall and wet mildness in spring.

Kunming for being the mildest and most comfortable. Excellent climate actually. Second place is probably Nanjing or Shanghai.
