Ariete Metal and greta thunberg combined. The lyrics around 0:50 make some good metal lyrics: People are suffering People are dying Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are the beginning of a mass extinction So...someone dressed up like Greta Thunberg and played a cover of Toxic Garbage Island by Gojira (a song about pollution and plastic). Who knew Greta could be so inspiring?

Pretty much the epitome of black metal: Very anti-christian, primitive and basic without being derivative/formulaic, melodic yet dissonant, and a hateful yet melancholic atmosphere. Love that tonal snare as well. The album starts off weak but gradually gets better. The last song is just beautiful. Hlidskjalf |

I have to recommend a great podcast series by some Norwegian dude from the band Mork. Here's an interesting episode with Vicotnic from Dødheimsgard. Those guys seemed like an epic gang to hang around back in the days. Too bad I was born 6 years too late. I was more interested in eurodance back then. |

Just a warning but that "Deliverers of Faith" album starts off weak but gets better. Vicotnik is a musical genius. Love everything he has done. |

Just remembered I was in this particular band in 2009 as drummer and recording engineer, credited as "Gaupa". www.metal-archives.com/bands/Aldrlag/3540309525The project lasted just a few weeks. They were hard to work with and stifled any creativity on my part. Plus the music is way too Drudkh-y for my taste. Still, funny to listen to after all these years.
