In many ways Def Leppard actually made even more savage metal after their glory years, at least in the desperate attempt of Euphoria (1999) to return to superstardom...

Def Leppard was pretty bad ass in the early eighties but became a bit too soft for my taste after Hysteria. Still a great band with tremendous song writing talent.

Yeah, what would this thread be without without a Finn contributing... You know Impaled Nazarene right? One of Finland's best bands in any genre ever. Although there is a lot of filler interludes in this particular album but they're pretty funny...at least I think so  Ugra karma and Suomi Finland Perkele are their other two gems. Also, Japanese people love metal  |

Best band from Belgium and one of their best songs Herval (Orval):
And another that mixes metal with "surf" guitar...works amazingly well.
