The Killers are a great group to listen to a long drive, ilmc90 . Put them on many drives up to northern New Hampshire. Even if they make me feel like it's 2005. The singer and songwriter of the group is a devout Mormon.
I've always heard that they weren't as big in the US as they are here?
Along with a few other bands, such as the Kings of Leon.
I don't think they were as big here as in the UK, but they've had moderate success in the US.. I would say they're popular enough that most people have at least heard of them. Obviously they're very popular on the alternative/Indie formatted radio stations.
The indian dude I work with listens to the most garbagw music I've ever known. I don't know id it's he, or all of India that's stuck in 2002 musically. Everything he listens to sounds like audiotuned MTV shitty techno music from the early 2000's but with Indian singing. It's weird because he's a really shy and gentle guy but whenever he's chopping chicken or baking bread or something it sounds like he's in a fucking Indian rave party. Really weird
Black fucking Sabbath. Heavy metal was invented by an Italian (Tony Iommi). This is where it all began. Black fucking Sabbath. Greatest metal band of all time.
