Situated on the northern coast of Japan at 36N. It experiences hot and humid summers, with most months recording 140-160 hours apart from August which has 221.5 hours of sun. The real strange part of this climate is winter, temperatures commonly seen in SE england with a record low of only -9.7C. But 278cm (109.5 inches) of snowfall, similar to regions of new england, all fuelled by the siberian high bringing cold, humid air. Not a single average minimum goes below 0C so lots of wet, slush and melting but also occasionally re-freezing on colder nights. I'm going to give this a D+, the summers are pretty nice with frequent rain and thundstorms but winter is bonkers and not really for me. May seems like a nice month too.

E-. Way way way too wet, miserable cold rain in winter, miserable humid summers, lots of clouds. At least thereβs decent seasonality and high temps are pretty good.
