alex992 made me aware of this climate since it once recorded a 31/-11°C day in September! So, what do people think of this extreme diurnal place with far chillier winters than some California cousins like Willow Creek, Weaverville, Pinnacles et cetera! For me it's a D-. I'd like its summers in a way, they're certainly exciting, and between June to September there will be many hours with temps within pleasant ranges. Unfortunately winter lets it down. Cold winters without much snow cover will feel pointless. By February the daytime sun will just melt it all away again.

Too dry and sunny for me, but interesting nonetheless. I'd give it a D for interest. This would be the type of climate Steelernation would like I think, or maybe even @antarctic Whaler since he likes high diurnals with inland climates, probably wouldn't like the dryness though.

B.
Records are too stable, spring is too cool and it doesn’t get enough snow but otherwise very good.

Can't stand high diurnal ranges in the summer months. Spring takes forever to warm up. Winters obviously too cold. This is impressive for its shock value, but not for me.
