These near-lying climates offer a perfect example of mediterranean microclimates at lower latitudes. Fremantle for me. Cooler summer temps, but still warm enough and with a sea breeze

Yeah there are no combinations of proper mediterreanean patterned weather with Mรกlaga winters and Bordeaux summers anywhere in Europe, that's for sure! Almerรญa winters*. Even warmer actually. Malaga has far from the warmest winters in Europe. They're closer to Ponta Delgada than Malaga. Gibraltar has Malaga winters and Bordeaux summers.
