I would be sick and tired of winter by now. How do you cope? Like most residents of Edmonton I am here primarily because of work. Nobody moves to Edmonton because of the weather. That said, summers here are nice: at least as warm and certainly a lot sunnier than almost anywhere in England. (I realize that's setting the bar rather low.) Your summers look like a sunnier London, I'd need an A+ Mediterranean summer to compensate for that endless winter. Good photos btw , look professional quality .

Unedited JPG straight from my phone at 21.53. Is it a testament to evening light here or my phone camera? Idk.

Daffodils are wilting, it's now tulip time! Nice evening, today's high was 27°C in Paris-Montsouris. Still 23°C at 11 pm in central Paris.

The West gets really long trains. I didn't see the industrial side of North Vancouve; nice walking & bike path. Your trees looks lightly ahead of New York City. 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 Weren't you getting back from work at 4:30 recently? Enough evening daylight to get out for a walk

This time of year there is plenty of daylight to go for a walk or bike ride after work.

Nothing too exciting here. A couple of random shots I took yesterday evening around 6:00. It was 52 F/11 C.

Another random pic. It was a beautiful day with clear skies, a gusty breeze and temps only in the 40s. Cool and refreshing weather.

In the city most of the snow is gone except for piles. Outside of the center, fields still had like 10cm of snow yesterday which will melt today or tomorrow. The river went from being bright white and walkable, to grey and mushy in one day. Two days later it was melted. At least there are flowers now in the city. Although we had flowers like these last March... Tavelsjö still has 60cm snow. Two weeks ago that trampoline had 10cm of snow above it. I don't think it will be gone in time for May though. Much more (dead) grass is starting to pop up though. Not that it's visible in this picture. In the city grass has started to grow again in some spots.

After the very sunny first half of April, and highs around 15c last 10 days, today felt autumnal. Overcast, NW breeze across fjord, 7c after overnight low of 5.3c Crocuses have flowered for some days now in the gardens; a little green green gras showing up

Yeah, crocuses. Normally they start popping up in late March, this year in the first few days of April atleast that I saw (I don't live in the city anymore). But you're forgetting Edmonton is colder than Umeå until April on average and even then Edmonton has more freezes, so the earlier flowers should be earlier in Umeå even if your trees get leaves earlier.
