Just fried some bacon from this place in eastern Saskatchewan. It's cooler and slightly wetter in the summer compared to Saskatoon and Regina and has a colder monthly mean in the coldest month (January) than those two cities as well, but Regina has a significantly colder record low and record high than Yorkton (105.1F vs 109.9F and -51F vs -58F). Yorkton is also a tad snowier on average than either of those two which have surprisingly low average annual snowfalls (77cm for Saskatoon and 100cm for Regina). I'll give it a A-. It would be cool to experience severe Arctic fronts with temperatures plummeting from 35F to -30F or something like that. The summers look exceptionally nice as well with plentiful thunderstorms.

Solid E material. Winters are way too severe, although the pleasant summers deserve it escaping from an otherwise guaranteed F

E. Winter is too cold and long and summer is too cool and wet. At least it’s livable so it’s not an F.

C–, by inland standards. Diurnals could be higher, and winters could be less chilly. Looks like it gets a fair bit of storms, too.

F- I think I'm becoming a warm lover... Oh no, we're losing one. I give this a solid B. Summers could be wetter and warmer and sunshine could be a bit lower, snowfall could be a bit heavier as well. Everything else is pretty awesome though.

Put them in a cold climate and they'll take to it just as naturally as penguins swim in the water, but expose them to tropical temperatures and they won't want to leave.

Quoted for truth, exactly. 0°C is actually the "office climate" of my region of Sweden It's not cold at all in my opinion. Only when on a bike there's an argument for it. I'd rather have 17°C highs in winter than 0°C highs, no mistake about it, but if I suffered in 0°C I'd be crammed indoors for five months of the year, which I'm not Today for example, I went to the sea and it was about -4°C and falling while I was there. I biked 9 km one way to get to that beach. Doesn't seem like someone who's allergic to cold, right? What I really hate with a passion are avg highs between 1-5°C since all that brings is perpetual melt and autumn-like dribble. Had our summers been five months long and averaging 25/15 in July I'd not minded my climate too much.

Everything else is pretty awesome though. Yep. I think I just like a modest four seasons climate, summers a bit warmer than London (to aid thunderstorms) and winters a bit colder than London's (to aid for cold snowy periods)

Its been gradual over the years as I get older, really. I like warm weather much more than before and I'd prefer 24hr below zero temperatures to occur sporadically.
