Day length change here is boring as shit. Sun angle is increasing about a degree every 3 days though.

The sky definitely looks like spring now because it's been so sunny and bright outside recently.

^ Your day length is about what ours is during winter solstice, but a later solar noon and of course you still have a lower sun angle.

This is the dark Arctic winter I've heard so much about lol, here's Barrow, AK on 28th February:
Sunrise: 09:03 Sunset: 18:17
Civil twilight lasts until 19:24 and nautical twilight until 20:39, so somewhere above the Arctic Circle in winter has visible light for longer in the evening than Sydney (where nautical twilight ends at 20:28) has in their summer even with daylight savings!
Or if we go by the astronomical seasons and use March 20th as the last day of winter, Barrow technically has a "winter" sunset at 20:47 (with daylight savings), civil twilight until 21:53 and nautical twilight until 23:19.

That 9 AM sunrise at this time of year is depressing as hell though. Good old Alaska with its massively shifted peak sun angle time.

This is Alert, Nunavut (82.5 N) in comparison to Barrow on February 28th:
Sunrise: 09:56:46 Solar Noon: 11:23:48 Sunset: 12:50:50 Peak Sun Angle: -0.31 degrees Length of Day: 02:54:04
Civil twilight: 06:18:11 until 16:30:21 Nautical twilight: 03:08:25 until 19:44:35 Astronomical twilight: 24 hours
Interesting how the peak sun angle is below 0 (horizon) yet there's still a registered sunrise and sunset. I'm guessing it's so close to the horizon the top half of the sun is visible and a registered sunrise.
Isn't civil twilight the only that's visible though? I know astronomical twilight looks light regular night, nautical twilight is a blue tinge on the horizon?

I know astronomical twilight looks light regular night, nautical twilight is a blue tinge on the horizon? The same thing happens in Coldfoot on the winter solstice by the way. The sun skirts the horizon for an hour a day, only partially visible. Nautical is when the sky is light but objects start to lose definition. We get the light end of nautical on summer nights, it's an eerie glow, neither light nor dark.
