Those sunrises on the western edge of the eastern time zone this time of the year are horrendous. Sunrise: 7:00AM Sunset: 7:11PM My circadian rhythmic solar soon is much later than the traditional time so having time zones like A Coruña or Ouessant is more pleasant than New York. I find being located -12.5° westward(50 minutes behind) of the standard time zone has a good balance for me in general. In this regard, Paris also situated same as to Terre Haute

Turku 23 March 2018,
Sunrise: 6:23 Sunset: 18:52 Length of day: 12:28:45 Noon: 12:37 Angle: 30.7 degrees
Where I'll gonna be tomorrow,
Sunrise: 6:13 Sunset: 18:41 Length of day: 12:28:25 Noon: 12:26 Angle: 30.9 degrees
Will feel weird with those shorter days and earlier noons, but luckily the sunrises are also earlier. /divisionbyzero0

Paris
Sunrise: 7:39 am Sunset: 8:14 pm
Pitch black when I left home at 6:40 am, still bright when I came back at 8:00 pm. Awesome stuff. To the fuckers that want to get rid of it: over my dead body, no!

I'm the northernmost member yet I'm nowhere near having the latest sunsets due to my bloody half hour eastern offset in the timezone. Same timezone as wester Spain yet 28 degrees east. Sunrise: 06:02 Sunset: 19:27 Noon: 12:43 (30.2°) Though twilights are decent. Civil twilight ends 20:16 and Astronomical 22:43.

2 April Sunrise: 06:39 Sunset: 19:46 Still beating Baba on those all-important sunsets despite our 10 deg latitude disadvantage Though to be honest the lighter evenings only really matter if it's sunny or warm enough to entice you into going out, there's not much point in it being light outside at 7.30 if it's cold and drizzling

Tomorrow night is the last time this spring Umeå will see pitch black darkness. Things move crazy fast near the Arctic.
