Sunrise was 5:21 today with civil twilight at 4:41. The sunlight woke me at 5:45... Sunset is only 8:59pm. I'd gladly shift the timezone over one hour so the sunrise isn't so early.

For today (May 22nd), the sunrise was at 5:03AM and sunset at 9:04PM, with a peak sun angle of 58.4 degrees, and solar noon at 1:03PM.

Post 10 PM sunsets are nice, daylight increases are starting to slow down though. Just under four minutes per day currently.

It's light, but it's only really for about 10 days either side of the solstice where you get a chance of nights that don't fully get dark, and you pretty much need to get a cold front passing over in the evening with clear skies afterwards for it to be noticeable this far south anyway because we're just below the permanent nautical twilight zone.
