You get what, 30 mins less in winter and 30 mins more in summer? lol I used to live at your latitude (around 34 N), the sun angle difference in winter is quite noticeable. 8-9 degrees lower sun angle with shorter day light is easily noticeable.

Even down here at 26 N, we had a 5:37 PM sunset today. I honestly don't mind it, it fits the whole atmosphere of the holidays. If only the weather followed suit though.

Won't the long nights help reducing the sense of heat urgency though? I guess having long nights at 21-22C can't be that bad when sun exposure isn't so great?
