... to the one you live in ... which one would you choose? My choice is Green Bay.  Granted I'd rate Green Bay quite similar to my climate, but it's those January's and February's that would drive me nuts and also July's a touch too hot and humid for me. Still, the rest of its summer looks rather beautiful and both December and late February look manageable to me in a way that almost gets it to the D+ grade I have for my climate. What about you folks?  |

Slim pickings. Tavelsjö intead of Umeå? Perhaps I could try the Norwegian side of the Scandes. Or the Finnish side of the Baltics, their snow seems to clear quicker at least. Or a hot tropical climate perhaps? Or perhaps Regina. Calafate perhaps? Arid and cooler summers but sunnier and warmer winters? Should I just list every climate that's as bad or worse than my own, but only slightly? I don't really get it lol  |

Probably somewhere tropical with really high rainfall amounts, like Quibdo for example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quibd%C3%B3#ClimateFunny because there aren't too many climate that are worse for me than my current climate considering my preferences, besides obvious places like Mecca or Dallol. |

I'd be willing to give Winnipeg a try - there'd be three months when I'd end up staying in most of the time, but their May-September in particular seems very pleasant.

Mo i Rana would be interesting for the extreme daylight variations and possible polar lights.
Also a mild (sub)tropical climate with thunderstorms would be acceptable.

Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Prince George, Golden, etc.
Gorgeous area, lots of outdoor activities, nice and dry and still seasonal. A downgrade to here climate-wise, but not too bad.
Anywhere in western Canada/Alaska outside of the coastal areas and far north would be fine.

Depends on the definition of worse. I might consider a climate worse, all while it has certain advantages to my current climate. I'd move to, say, coastal South Carolina. I'd enjoy the ocean for long summers, but I'd miss winter.

Some Mediterranean climates in southern Europe may be tolerable. The temp range isn't that bad, summers aren't totally rainless, and t-storms occur occasionally. Snow can also occur during winter.

In my case worse means colder. I would move to a place in western Norway called Fjærland.
The summeres are much cooler due to a large glacier nearby and the winters are quite unforgiving as well even though it's quite close to the sea and at sea level. The nature is however among the most beautiful and epic I've ever seen. Vast landscapes with tovering mountains and fresh air.
I'm not that fond of heavily populated places either. Oslo is a quite crowded and polluted place nowadays and the landscape rather depressing with lots of tall, grey Soviet like buildings and car factories everywhere.

I hate 3 things in climates:
1) heat
2) mediterrenean precipitation pattern
3) high UV index.
In first group I will choose Sapporo. At least it's not sunny and dry in summer.
In second group I will choose Seattle. At least temperatures are comfortable.
In third group I will choose Kunming. At least it's monsoonal and has comfortable temperatures.
