Most of the med would be far too cold for unclothed humans in winter. Pathetic lies bro!! Altea maded warm winters for wearing the bikini or no clothes. Altea beaches full of the naked human all winter long. Only cold African rock with colded winter rains you needs very very warm clothes & the heating jajajajaja...

Hmm I'm thinking maybe Bermuda, La Palma or Cape Verde if we're going to be completely without clothing under current circumstances. Maybe Saint Helena too, when I think about it.
Avoiding heat strike is kind of important though, even in some of those climates.

I think a 30/20 climate makes most sense for naked humans a climate like that wouldn't promote intelligence.

Is this thread about the first hominids or the first homo sapiens? The time scale is quite different, you know. Homo Sapiens but for the sake of an interesting discussion first hominids.

I think for a white person with stone age technology a very mild and cloudy climate like the Azores would be best (although skin cancer isn't really an evolutionary factor)

The difference between Humans and the great apes are many features that make Homo Sapiens more adapted to move in water - wading and swimming: The human nose that is completely different from the great apes and very well adapted to swimming forward, the lack of body hair, the long leg bones perfect for wading in coastal waters and rivers. And think about it: Where is it easier for a human without modern technology to get food: The Savannah in competition with lions and Hyenas, or the coastal areas with their abundance of different type of sea food. Also, why is it that sea food is good for our health, while red meat is bad for our health? There is enough fossil evidence to suggest that by 2 million years ago, our Homo ancestors were living and moving via the coasts through parts of Asia and Eurasia. Verhaegen believes that H. erectus was predominantly semi-aquatic, a frequent swimmer and efficient slow diver, and that wading may have come about later, as part of a move back to a more terrestrial existence, as a result of the cooling global temperatures... aquatic-human-ancestor.org/anatomy/bipedalism.html
The caves near the coast in south Africa /East Africa has proven more than 100,000 years of human habitation. So we are built for a climate like....Durban en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durban#Climate

Note that much of Africa is actually at quite a high elevation. The climate of Kampala, for instance, looks like it would be very comfortable for prehistoric humans - no need for heating or AC.

Nouméa looks perfect for primitive man but I'm sure earlier versions of us were exposed to hotter climates.

I would think a climate like Nairobi would be ideal for humans en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nairobi#ClimatePleasant temps, adequate precipitation, and few extremes. Although obviously with modern day advancement, the "ideal" has likely changed.

Humans can slowly freeze to death over weeks in temps as warm as 18°C. I remember 25°C being the neutral point.
